Gelukkig hoeft men in de meeste gevallen niet op zoek naar het Citroën Peugeot voertuigidentificatienummer in de motorruimte, maar zit er een sticker op de deurstijl. De sticker is goed leesbaar en geprint op een makkelijk toegankelijke plek en is dus een handige plek om het chassisnummer op de auto zelf te vinden.
